      Tamborine Mountain is home to a lot of annual events, many of which have been around for many years!

      They are forming an integral part of the annual “Must Do” calendar for Tamborine Mountain, and put a happy smile on the faces of thousands of happy visitors to the area. Whatever your interest, or your age, if you come alone, with friends or with family – events always add a lot of excitement to a visit to the Gold Coast Hinterland – “The Green behind the Gold”

      Craft Extravaganza

      Hand Made Craft Fair! “Craft Extravaganza” is an amazing Craft Fair featuring handmade crafts of exceptional quality made by 50 local and South east Queensland craft persons with a huge variety of work on display and all available for purchase at reasonable prices. The Fair has a reputation of showcasing some of the best handmade craft in the area. The next Fair will be held on the 9th, 10th and 11th of October 2020.

      TM Artisan Fayre

      Showcasing local artist’s work! The “Artisan Fayre” is a growing mountain community event that began as a crazy idea in 2015. Coordinated by an awesome team of local artists that volunteer their time to provide an outlet for artists of all different mediums to showcase their work. This year’s event was held on Sunday 15th November 2020 from 9am until 4pm. Details of the 2021 event will be posted here as soon as they are available.

      Garden Club: Camellia and Magnolia Festival

      The Camellia and Magnolia Festival will be on the 30th and 31st of July 2021.
      There will be five open Gardens from 10 am to 4 pm. There are also plant sales.

      TICKETS are $20 per person to access all the gardens over the two days and are available ONLINE ONLY via our website. Under Covid safe rules all guests must check in with their phone using the Queensland Covid tracking app to each garden.

      The Viking Culture Day

      The Viking Culture Day

      An annual Festival of Viking Craft and Living History “The Viking Culture Day” is an annual event which brings together the living history, crafts, fighting, archery and spectacle of the Viking Dark Ages. The event is hosted by Jorth Gar living history society, and runs on the 2nd Sunday of September each year, held in the park opposite the Tamborine State Primary School on Long Road Eagle Heights. Gates open 8am, entry by gold coin donation.

      Scarecrow Festival

      Something to “crow” about! The Tamborine Mountain“Scarecrow Festival” is a fun filled weekend for the young and young at heart! Have a chuckle at all the weird and wonderful creations. Follow the trail to see over 150 scarecrows from ingenious to wacky. Festival activities at the “TM Sports Complex” on Saturday and in “Gallery Walk” on Sunday. The 2020 event was held from Friday 11th to Sunday 20th of September 2020.

      Million Paws Walk

      An RSPCA Community Event! The Tamborine Mountain “Million Paws Walk” is the favorite outdoor event for animal lovers and their furry friends from all over beautiful Tamborine Mountain. You can enjoy a 1.5 or 3 km walk, make some new like-minded friends, mingle with other pet owners and enter great competitions! The 2019 event was held on Sunday 19th of May 2019, and the 2020 event was held on-line as a virtual event, in reaction to Covid19. Details of the 2021 event will be posted here soon.

      A fun packed day for the whole family! The Tamborine Mountain A H & I Society Inc. proudly presented the “TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN SHOW” on Sat 16th March 2019. Each year’s Show is built around a different theme, and for 2019, we had “Rock’n Roll” – so everyone dusted off their gear, and slicked back thier hair, and got ready for a fun filled day of Rock’n’Roll delights!
